Following a very successful career in IT, culminating as software development director for a financial information vendor Lee decided that driving a desk was not for him. Having had a couple of motor boats in the past, he decided to give sailing a try and pursued it to Yachtmaster Offshore - getting his Cruising Instructor qualification to allow him to teach. Freelance work in UK and Canaries followed, he then joined Club Sail full time in October 2007.
With their encouragement he put myself forward for, and passed, his Yachtmaster Instructor qualification in April 2008. Yachtmaster Ocean soon followed and he has added the Astro-Navigation theory course to his portfolio.
Having now added Yachtmaster Motor to his skills Lee now looks forward to teaching motor as well as sail in the future. |
