Sue has been teaching sailing in the Canaries for over 3 years.
In a former life she was a Research & Development Project Manager for lovely new chocolate bars. Sailing had been just a hobby for about 4 years until she met her husband sailing here - and was ultimately tempted to leave the joys of Slough and move out to the sunny Canaries.
She's never looked back, clocking up many a mile - including: become one of the small percentage of Yachmaster Instructors in 2008; and skippering the first all-girl yacht to complete the Christopher Columbus race from Spain to La Gomera this summer. She loves teaching from complete beginner on Competent Crew courses up to Yachtmaster preparation - and is looking forward to more all girl weeks with bonus spa treats! |
